Come out on Sunday, April 3rd as we “Paint the Town Green” and put up flyers within our community! Volunteers all across Greater Los Angeles County will be visiting cafes, grocery stores, and local shops to let people know about this year’s in person NAMI Walks. The more people know about the Walk and see NAMI’s name out there, the more mental health awareness we raise! When one in five people experience a mental illness in any given year the need for support is critical. We want all of Pomona Valley to know that we are here providing mental health resources for free all year long.
How does volunteering work? You tell us where you want to go, how many flyers you need, and we deliver! You can go at your own pace and visit as many locations as you’d like on April 3rd.
